Things to do in Toscolano Maderno

Toscolano Maderno is a quiet base on Lake Garda’s west shore: beaches, a lakeside walk, markets, boats and day trips to Salò, Gargnano and the hills. Here’s how to plan it from Borgo Antico.

In town, on foot

In town, on foot

From the apartments you reach the lakeside promenade, public beaches and shops in minutes. In Toscolano, the Valle delle Cartiere walk follows the stream past old mills and woodland. Stop at the Museo della Carta in the historic mulino and pause at the bar beside the river. Ideal for swimming, a café stop, or stocking the kitchen at Thursday’s market and Monday’s farmers’ market.
